Ingredients
  1. 1 cup of Israeli Couscous, uncooked
  2. ¼ cup sliced almonds
  3. 1 celery stalk, cleaned and chopped
  4. ¼ cup tomatoes, chopped
  5. ¼ cup cranraisins
  6. ¾ turmeric
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Pepper to taste
  9. 6 Chives, sliced
  10. Dressing ingredients
  11. 6 Tablespoon Olive oil
  12. 4 Tablespoons Vinegar (champagne or white wine vinegar)
  13. Salt
  14. Pepper
Instructions
  1. Cook Couscous according to directions and allow to cool
  2. Add all other ingredients and mix well
  3. Prepare dressing and pour into couscous mixture and mix
  4. Top with sliced chives
Notes
  1. Have fun with the add on ingredients, change the almond slices for pecans, add shallots or cranraisins. Top with grilled chicken or fish.
