Ingredients
- 1 cup of Israeli Couscous, uncooked
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- 1 celery stalk, cleaned and chopped
- ¼ cup tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup cranraisins
- ¾ turmeric
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 6 Chives, sliced
- Dressing ingredients
- 6 Tablespoon Olive oil
- 4 Tablespoons Vinegar (champagne or white wine vinegar)
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Cook Couscous according to directions and allow to cool
- Add all other ingredients and mix well
- Prepare dressing and pour into couscous mixture and mix
- Top with sliced chives
Notes
- Have fun with the add on ingredients, change the almond slices for pecans, add shallots or cranraisins. Top with grilled chicken or fish.
